Clostridium butyricum is an anaerobic heterotrophic Gram-positive bacillus that produces butyric acid, lactic acid and acetic acid. It has the biological characteristics of being resistant to high temperature, acid and multiple antibiotics. After being colonized in the intestines of livestock and poultry, Clostridium butyricum can inhibit the growth of harmful intestinal bacteria and promote the proliferation of beneficial bacteria, effectively improving the digestion and absorption of nutrients by livestock and poultry and their resistance, thereby improving the economic benefits of livestock and poultry farming.
