Who is this NVQ course for?

The NVQ level 6 course is aimed at those responsible for developing day-to-day Health and Safety procedures within their workplace and implementing them effectively.

The aim of this course is to provide holistic training, imparting a deep understanding of occupational health and safety management in a practical way.
From start to finish, students can expect to spend around 1064 hours completing the NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety qualification. Around half of these will be carried out under the supervision of expert instructors.
Once the NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety course is complete, students will be assessed internally. They’ll be awarded either a pass or a fail. This qualification has been designed for candidates older than 19, but comes with no formal entry requirements. A thorough grounding in health and safety can be of enormous benefit in many fields, and thus workers of all types will benefit from completing this course.
For the duration of the course, students will be able to track their progress through a list of modules and units. When a given unit is complete, it can be crossed off the list.
